I-REC RENEWABLE ENERGY CERTIFICATE – COMPANY COMMITMENT TO SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT

I-REC (International Renewable Energy Certificate) – International Renewable Energy Certificate (green energy). It is an energy attribute certificate (EAC) that certifies the quantity of electricity used as coming from renewable sources. It helps benefit the environment and distinguishes it from non-renewable energy sources. And 1 I-REC = 1 MWh of renewable energy.

Renewable energy is a clean energy source that helps reduce the greenhouse effect and does not cause environmental pollution during the conversion process. For this reason, the Vietnamese government has made commitments both domestically and internationally to reduce carbon emissions to zero by 2050 at COP 26 and to ensure green conditions for goods exported to rigorous markets such as the European Union (EU).
